DAY 1 -

Lemon Juice

First thing first!

As soon as you wake up, put a smile on your face and then prepare a glass of hot water with the juice of one lemon.

What happens if you drink warm lemon water every morning?

Drinking lemon water first thing in the morning, allows the body to effectively absorb these nutrients, giving you an immunity boost to start off your day. Healthier skin. Since lemon water aids the liver in flushing out toxins and improving digestion, this helps with a clearer complexion.

So convince?? Let’s glow!!

Morning Skincare Routine

Now let’s talk about the

This is the MORNING ROUTINE that you will follow every morning for seven days to prep and hydrate skin for the day ahead.

Step 1 – CLEANSE

Please, for the love of the beauty gods, wash your face before slathering on your products.

For ingredients to properly absorb, you need clean skin that’s totally free of oil and grime.

Wash away any traces of sleep with a deep and cleanse using a gentle natural soap, we recommend HAWAII or BALI Soaps.

Cleanse the skin in circular movements during 1min then wash the skin with warm water and pat dry.

Step 2 – TONE

Toner are filled with either gentle, hydrating ingredients which helps replenish any water your skin barrier lost when you washed and dried your face. They’re essentially just priming your face for ingredients to be better absorbed later on. After cleansing, tap your toner over clean, dry skin, then wait a full minute before applying anything else and let it works his magic.

There’s no such thing as too much moisture, regardless of your skin type! Basically, moisture makes your face happy.

Step 3 – HYDRATE

Massage in your facial oil, this antioxidant-rich formula fights free radicals and keep your skin healthy and hydrated all day long. Complete the routine by applying your favourite sunscreen. and everyday going forward, whether it is rainy or shining outside, no matter what UVA rays are constantly present, these are the rays that cause ageing.

DRINK MINIMUM 1,5L OF WATER. Add lemon or whatever citrus to give flavour and keep boosting collagen!!

Drink, drink, drink

Diet Routine

Let’s get started by planning for the week ahead. Think about boosting your skin from the inside out. Hyaluronic acid can help boost collagen production in the human body. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body, but it decreases as we age. Eating foods rich in vitamin C and amino acids can increase the levels of hyaluronic acid and collagen in the body as both are important for skin. It’s the perfect way to boost collagen levels and improve skin tones.

So let’s prepare the perfect breakfast for a collagen boost.

Eat cashew nuts or drink cashew milk.

Prepare a fruit bowl with citrus (orange or grapefruit), berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries) and tropical fruits (mango, kiwi, guava and pineapple).

So get creative with that and make fruit salad or smoothies for breakfast all this week!

For lunch or during little break, eat more nuts. Nuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which lower inflammation, Brazil nuts are abundant in selenium which increases skin elasticity and almonds are high in vitamin E.

To increase collagen for lunch or dinner, include in your meals leafy greens.

We all know leafy greens are a key player in a healthy diet. As it turns out, they may offer aesthetic benefits, too. Spinach, kale, and other salad greens get their color from chlorophyll, known for its antioxidant properties. Consuming chlorophyll increases the precursor to collagen in the skin.

Add Garlic on your diet.

PEPPERS and TOMATOES _ Another hidden source of vitamin C!

Get more lycopene from tomatoes and watermelon, great boosts in protecting against sun damage.

Eat avocado everyday! Avocados are a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids. Amazing for your skin.

Reduce alcohol consumption, even red wine will dehydrate your system.

AVOID SATURATED SUGAR.

Try a dairy free week, it might seem hard but even organic dairy contains bovine hormones which can stimulate overactive oil glands and aggravate skin (will be even better to put out meat too).

On eliminating processed food and refined sugar: sugar in any form influences the two major causes of acne: hormones and inflammation. As you eat refined and processed carbohydrates like white sugar, your blood sugar levels increase at a faster rate, and your pancreas responds by releasing insulin. By eliminating sugar, you may be able to decrease the amount of insulin (and as a result, oil and acne production) your body makes.

On eliminating dairy: These products can trigger or worsen acne, since milk contains precursors to testosterone and other androgens, which influence the hormone receptors in the skin to turn on the process that causes acne.

On eliminating alcohol: Although drinking too much alcohol does not directly cause acne, it’s certainly feasible that it may trigger acne. Certain steroid hormones, such as glucocorticoids and adrenal androgens, are released during stress. These hormones stimulate the oil glands in the skin, beginning a process that leads to acne. Bottom line — moderation!

Eat nothing but “real” foods during this seven days challenge.

Get plenty of beauty sleep, lack of sleep causes lower circulation which can give you a dull complexion. Night time is when the cells are renewing so it’s a great tip to have your Collagen Shots before you go to bed, Helping collagen levels to do their magic while you sleep. For example eat a grapefruit.

Step 1 – CLEANSE

Please remove all traces of dirt and makeup before you go to bed, you might get away with it now and then but it will catch up with you long term if you don’t.

Wash away the stress of the day and any bacteria that has been transferred to the face with a deep and cleanse using a gentle natural soap, for the night we recommend SKY Soaps that have a gentle exfoliation with the oat and super relaxing with the lavender essential oil.

Cleanse the skin in circular movements during 1min then wash the skin with warm water and pat dry.

Step 2 – TONE

Now that skin is clean, fresh and ready to absorb anything that you apply next, follow the cleanse with the relaxing Neroli facial toner to help you to relax and unwind whilst giving skin a dose of energy.  After cleansing, tap your toner over clean, dry skin, then wait a full minute before applying anything else and let it works his magic. Just close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax your facial.

Step 3 – SERUM

This step is about delivering deeply penetrating and active ingredients that target specific concerns.

A few drops of the Myrrh serum is your perfect night time companion if you want to boost skin radiance and amplify age-defying results. Vitamin A helps promote cell turnover, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, increases elasticity, firmness and tones your skin. The oil's fatty acid content may help dissolve excess oil on the skin. It also helps reverse sun damage. You’ll awaken to a replenished complexion with all the hard work being carried out while you get your beauty sleep.

Step 4 –HYDRATE & PROTECT

Hydration is everything and the layering of products allows your moisturiser to reach its fullest potential. This step seals in the ingredients you’ve applied up to this point, plus adds nourishment and provides a protective layer.

A go to staple for your skin and is our facial oils. They contain a curated blend of superfood oils that sink deeply into the skin generating cellular renewal and assist with calming and balancing the skin. They are rich in vitamins and work to reinforce the skin's natural lipid barrier.

The versatile properties of these oils also mean that they can be used with all other serum and moisturisers for additional hydration, restorative nutrients and age-defying benefits. A few drops is all you need.

Step 5 – Sleep well and wake up glowing!

Night  Skincare Routine

DAY 2 -

Meditate

Even if it is just for 4 deep breaths at a time to calm your space. Close your eyes and try breathing deeply in and out 4 times, it’s amazing how even these few moments will help to calm you. The best way to start the day!

Lemon Juice

Always and forever! Put lemon in your life.

Follow the tips and the same morning/night routine of day 1, during 7 days.

Massage

When you apply your face oil, give your face a gentle massage to increase blood circulation and get that glow up.

Exfoliate, exfoliate

This step go after the cleansing step.

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! In a recent survey of beauty therapists on anti-ageing, the top tip was exfoliated, to reveal fresher younger skin.

Of course it's important to not over exfoliate, doing a deep exfoliation once per week is the right amount.

As the skin of your body is way more delicate than the skin of your face, it's also important to use a soft exfoliant.

Our Facial Exfoliant powder is ideal for gentle exfoliation, to remove impurities, revitalise and soothe your skin.

All ingredients are natural and organic for a smooth, silky texture that will provide perfect hydration and return the skin to its natural balance. It's A MUST HAVE !!

Put a teaspoon of the powder in the palm of your hand and add a little water. Mix with your finger to create a paste and apply on the face and neck with a gentle massage, circular motions for 2 to 5 minutes. Enjoy every sensations! Just close your eyes and relax. Remove with warm water.

Don't  Pick  and  Squeeze

The odd imperfections may tempt you to start fiddling but leave them to sort out on their own and you will improve much more quickly.

Keep it clean

Clean makeup brushes and throw away old makeup, keep fresh to avoid bacteria.

DAY 3 -

Lemon Juice

And all the same than Day 1.

Be a Berry Savvy

Be berry savvy, blend an array of dark berries into a smoothie. Dark berries contain flavanols, potent antioxidants for the skin.

Stretch

There is nothing like yoga or pilates to stretch and get your body moving, gentle movement allows hydration in the connective tissues.

Salad

Use grape seed oil in cooking and salads!

DAY 4 -

Lemon Juice

And all the same than Day 1.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a natural wonder, it helps with the formation of collagen and protects us from scurvy to sun damage. Take a fresh orange juice to boost your day.

Shower

Keep shower water at tepid temperatures, excessive heat causes dehydration and can stimulate broken capillaries in fair skin.

Food

Don’t eat pre-packed foods, they are typically much higher in salt and sugar. Sugar has been proven to harden and denature collagen, leaving skin looking dull and flat, find out more about the effect sugar has at What’s all the fuss about sugar.

DAY 5 -

Lemon Juice

And all the same than Day 1.

Green Juice

Have an early morning boost with a green juice.

Fave mask

Start the day with a resurfacing facial mask, check out the TURMERIC - PINEAPPLE & FACIAL EXFOLIANT POWDER MASK.

Take a Nap

If you’re tired in the afternoon, try to close your eyes for just a few minutes and slip off into a nap.

DAY 6 -

Lemon Juice

And all the same than Day 1.

To avoid

Avoid processed low-fat foods, natural fats such as coconut oil and avocado are packed with essential fatty acids, so important for good skin health. Read about low-fat choices.

Ice Cube

Reduce eye bags first thing in the morning, well, no, second thing after the lemon juice.

A cold compress can help reduce swelling and shrink dilated blood vessels. This can reduce the appearance of puffiness and help eliminate dark circles. Wrap a few ice cubes in a clean washcloth and apply to your eyes.

DAY 7 -

Lemon Juice

And all the same than Day 1.

Zinc

Zinc is a skin care wonder. Zinc assists with the formation of collagen and help to protect DNA. Plant based foods rich in zinc are bread, cereal products, tofu, chickpeas, chia, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, walnuts, cashew nuts.

Copper

Copper in the tiniest amounts also helps with the formation of collagen and healthy DNA, find it in nuts, grains, spinach, asparagus, potatoes, fresh  parsley, shitake mushrooms and dark chocolate.

Pamper Yourself

This is always important, self care is also about the way you treat yourself. When it's time for your evening routine, take your time and enjoy it. Put some music, some candles, disconnect from the day, read a book and relax.

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS 7 DAYS SKIN CONFIDENCE CHALLENGE AND WE ARE LOOKING FOWARD TO HEAR FROM YOUR RESULTS!
